PGA Head Pro / Director of Golf

John has been a Golf Professional in the Northwest since 1987. Before running the Highlander Golf Club John was Head Professional at another Wenatchee golf course since 1991. His background also includes Broadmoor Golf Club in Seattle, Snohomish Golf Course in Snohomish and Lake Padden Golf Course in Bellingham.

Guest Services / Group Events

Steve comes to us from San Diego California where he operated a Restaurant and Corporate Catering service for over 15 years. He will assist you in planning and customizing your event to your special needs. Steve is committed to providing the utmost in Customer Service during your stay with us.

Pro Shop

Dave has an extensive business and customer service background. Dave has been with the Highlander since our very first day.  Dave is an excellent instructor and student of the game.  Dave heads our Junior Golf Clinic and has a real knack with young golfers.

Mark Babst

Mark stared with the Highlander in the Spring of 2007.  He is a graduate of the golf Academy of America in San Diego, CA.  Mark is a strong player and instructor.  In addition to working full time during the season, Mark is in the PGA of America and participates in the CWC PGA Pro-Am series every Monday.

Ryan Gill

Ryan started with the Highlander in 2004.  Ryan soon developed a real passion for golf.  From here he went to the Golf Academy of America in San Diego, CA.  After graduating at the top of his class, he returned to his roots at the Highlander.  In addition to working full time during the season, Ryan is in the PGA of America and participates in the CWC PGA Pro-Am series every Monday.

Pro Shop Staff
We have a number of other full and part-time staff dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. This includes Pro Shop, Starting and Marshaling.

Cart and Outside Service Staff
We have a fantastic outside service staff committed to making our guest feel welcome and comfortable. They greet all our guests and assist them with their bags and carts. They provide assistance and direction when guests arrive and depart.

Greens Crew Staff
We have a number of greens crew staff dedicated to providing the best possible playing conditions at all times.

Stew has been with the Highlander since the very beginning.  He has been our Grounds Superintendent since 2006.  Stew has a love for the game of golf and a passion for keep the course in excellent condition.
